VIKING MUSEUM COMPETITION, OSLO, NORWAY

Norwegian culture and ocean are inextricably linked. This has been true of all times and seasons, from cradle to grave. Norwegian landscape was shaped by the last Ice Age glaciers, the Viking culture and life shaped by the sea that surrounds them.

The proposal’s form is inspired by the Vikings’ technical skills, engineering skills and creativity. Spacious galleries create a home to Viking icons and a space for exploration of trails of varying themes in depth exhibition and special exhibitions. The new and the old building is assessed as a whole and create in your uniform and comprehensive museum and visiting experience.
